The SharkFinMod involves using a custom Fakra Z splitter to connect to the factory shark fin GPS antenna on the roof of your GM vehicle. This mod aims to enhance GPS signal reception by utilizing the existing shark fin antenna rather than relying on a separate GPS puck. The setup results in a cleaner installation and can simplify the wiring process by using a single cable solution. The splitter consists of one male Farka Z connector and 2 female connectors with a 42-inch cable on one side and a 6-inch cable on the other to accommodate this specific installation need for the 2019+ Silverados and Sierras.

I had to buy it because the GPS adapter that came with the 16"5 aucar wasn't getting no service that well and once I plugged this adapter to my shark fin on my truck way better service thank you
I love my new setup, can't believe how much refreshing it makes my interior look. Radio Edit is a cut above the rest. I recommend him 10x over. Please go see them for your truck Radio needs.
